So, good then. The online embargo for the full Prototype 2 review isn’t until 4pm on the 24th so you’ll have to wait for the full details. In the meantime I can share a few choice cuts of what our reviewer had to say.

Writer Rob Taylor describes Prototype 2 as, “the ultimate manifestation of comic book violence”. The sandbox gameplay sees you playing as a mutated soldier called Heller, using his shape-changing powers to avenge the death of his family.

That means jumping and slicing your way through crowds of civilians, soldiers and monsters, or using weapons, tanks, helicopters and other vehicles. The options are plenty and Taylor says, it’s got “a menagerie of new tricks up its gene-spliced sleeves”.

“The combat recalls GOW meets Arkham City, though it’s far more simplistic,” he explains. While it’s not perfect – “The oft-repeated dodge moves and finishers against tougher identikit enemies grate before the end”- it is, according to Taylor, “a far stronger game in every aspect than the original and a compelling counterpoint to Infamous 2″. He closes by describing it as, “a gore-packed sandbox masterpiece”. There’s a box quote if ever I heard one.

Yesterday I got to my surprise my copy in Prototype 2. Then when I introduced my RADNET code and went to see what content and challenges in the coming weeks out, I saw that we are on May 29, the second DLC Prototype 2 expect. This second DLC pack is called Excessive Force, and is therefore already quite soon after the Mayham Colossal Pack which will be released on May 8

Further details on the DLC pack, we have unfortunately not, but the text below it is very promising:

Prototype 2 is officially out on April 24 and is available in the regular edition, but also in the RADNET edition that costs the same as the regular edition. By this RADNET get as much as 55 DLC extras in the first seven weeks of release for no extra cost. The weekly extra content will consist of in-game events, challenges, avatars, themes, behind the scenes videos and bonus changes for the campaign. If you also participate in weekly challenges and all events, you'll eventually get rewards ultimate shape-shifting.

Το πρώτο Prototype το βαρέθηκα πολύ γρήγορα. Καλό το μπαμ-μπούμ αλλά το παιχνίδι χρειαζόταν εναλλαγές. Το 2 ελπίζω να είναι πιο "σοβαρό".

Μην περιμένεις κάποιο σοβαρό σενάριο! Παρόλο που στα βιντεάκια μας προιδεάζουν για συναισθηματικό θρίλερ, αποτυγχάνει κάπως!

Έχει πολύ καλύτερο σύστημα reward για αυτά που κάνεις!
Καταντάει επαναληπτικό όμως μετά από λίγο σε αυτά που κάνεις!

Βέβαια κάνεις ότι γουστάρεις σαν open-world game!
Τα γραφικά και το animation σε κάποιες περιπτώσεις είναι απλά port από το 1ο παιχνίδι!

Γενικώς όμως είναι καραδιασκεδαστικό και πολύ καλύτερο από το 1ο στα περισσότερα επίπεδα!

Περιμένω και εγώ review για να δω αν έχει τπτ καλύτερο παρακάτω μιας και το ειδα για "λίγο"!
