Ubisoft promises that Far Cry 3 will be “more than a Shooter”
Ubisoft has released a new video documenting their road to E3, in which they explain that Far Cry 3 will be “totally different than any other shooter experience”.
In the short clips we get to see some of the mocap technology used to replicate the game’s actors movements, as well as a few members from the 300 employee strong development team. Supposedly they’re is working on a new demo to showcase, how this year they plan to “raise the bar”.
We’re hoping it won’t just be a simple alteration between drug missions and “kill everything in sight” objectives, but maybe at this year’s E3 we will get to see something we’ve never seen before.

EB Games Australia are producing a steelbook for the Far Cry 3 EB Exclusive Edition and you can vote to decide which artwork features as the cover design.
There’s two to pick from and casting your vote is as simple as liking your favourite Steelbook design on the EB Games Australia Facebook via the jump.
You have until Sunday 27th May, 2012 (presumably AEST) to vote for your favourite design and the one with the most likes will go into production.
What the Far Cry 3 EB Exclusive Edition contains is a mystery, apart from the obvious Far Cry 3 game and an exclusive steelbook. Expect to hear more details on the edition after the voting proces
