"Our company was born in March 2012 in Kiev," reads a post on the new studio's website. "Ten years earlier, at GSC Game World, we started developing the renowned STALKER series, and continued work on it until December 2011 when the studio was unexpectedly shut down and the STALKER 2 project frozen.
"We did not reach agreement with the rights owner regarding the use of the STALKER brand, [so] we made the decision to move forward as an independent studio with a new project."

Το όνομα της νεοσυσταθείσας εταιρίας είναι Vostok Games.

Here’s The Portal 2 DLC Trailer


Perpetual Testing is the name of Valve’s Portal 2 DLC, coming to PC and Mac on May 8th. It’s basically a level editor that will mean users continue to supply you with testing chambers to play through. Forever.

Well, perhaps not forever, but for a while, at least. There’s no word yet as to whether this will make it onto other platforms but we can hope.

Predictably, for Valve and Portal, it’s quite funny.

Ο Alex Zemke φτιάχνει animated ταινία μικρού μήκους για το Portal



Kαι ποιός είναι αυτός θα μου πείτε και θα έχετε και δίκιο. Ο Alex Zemke είναι Graphical artist και έχει εργαστεί πάνω σε πολλά παιχνίδια και άλλα cg-animated films. Μερικά από αυτά είναι τα Killzone 3, Uncharted 2 και 3, SOCOM 4 κα.



Ο τίτλος της ταινίας μικρού μήκους θα ονομάζεται "Companionship" και θα διαρκεί περίπου 10 λέπτα.
Πρωταγωνίστρια θα είναι η Chell και θα υπάρχει τουλάχιστον ένας Aperture Science cube.

Προφανώς έχει καταφύγει και αυτός στην λύση του Kickstarter.
