The game, which is being developed to coincide with the fiftieth anniversary of the James Bond film franchise will incorporate the stories of six Bond films, retelling them with an overarching narrative that ties them together
At the official announcement of the game on 18 April 2012, publisher Activision did not comment on which films would be remade in the game, but admitted that the upcoming Skyfall will serve as the final portion of the game.
Moonraker was revealed to be the first mission of the game,while the second mission will be based on the film On Her Majesty's Secret Service. Licence to Kill and Die Another Day will also feature in the story.
Bruce Feirstein, who wrote three films and four games in the James Bond universe, also wrote the screenplay along with Rob Matthews, who specially works for Eurocom. Daniel Craig will voice Bond throughout the game, while the single player will also feature an XP and leveling system.

Four out of the six missions in the upcoming Bond game 007: Legends have been revealed so far, and this action-packed trailer from Gamescom showcases them nicely.

The trailer, seen below, contains gameplay footage from the missions Moonraker, On Her Majesty’s Secret Service, A Liscense To Kill, and Die Another Day, each based off of their respective films. Several of James Bond’s gadgets are shown, and there’s also a hint as to some driving levels in the full game. You can’t have a Bond game without ‘the car’, after all.

007: Legends is set to deploy on October 16th, 2012 (17th AU, 19th EU) for the Xbox 360, PS3, and PC. Make sure to follow OnlySP for more showcased news.

007 Legends Gamescom 2012 Preview -- Spy, Spy, Bang, Bang
To celebrate the 50th anniversary of legendary super spy James Bond, Eurocom have created 007 Legends. The first-person shooter will delight fans of the franchise, as it features an overarching story that takes place throughout five classic Bond films including Moonraker, On Her Majesty's Secret Service, License to Kill, and Die Another Day.

The fifth movie has yet to be revealed, but Eurocom did announce that a sixth mission will be coming later this year based on the new Bond flick, Skyfall. At Gamescom 2012 we got to check out the newest missions from 007 Legends: License to Kill, and Die Another Day.
Each mission in 007 Legends is complete with multiple levels, your favorite state of the art spy gadgets and weapons, and iconic vehicles like the Aston Martin and classic characters. Bond himself is played by the suave Daniel Craig, and Carey Lowell and Toby Stephens are both back in their roles as Agent Pam Bouvier from License to Kill and Gustav Graves from Die Another Day.

In the License to Kill mission, Bond and Agent Pam Bouvier have to uncover an international drug operation headed by Mexican drug lord Fran Sanchez. The mission is a stealthy one, and Bond has to use his trusty gadgets, like his watch with a radar on it, to detect where enemies are hiding so he can take them out without causing a scene and inconspicuously plant bombs around a facility. For this particular mission, Bond's also equipped with a pen dart gun complete with different darts for every situation including a tranquilizer dart, an electric shock dart, and a defibrillator dart.

Die Another Day offered a completely different gameplay experience. In this portion of the demo, Bond was trying to track down and stop Gustav Graves, a diamond mogul who's trying to fund the development of an international space weapon named Icarus. Bond could use his smartphone as binoculars to plan a route, or use it as an electromagnetic device to switch cameras off to avoid detection. He also could have gone in guns blazing, as he was equipped with all sorts of weapons, grenades, and proximity mines.

While the first part of level was about tracking and killing enemies to get to Graves, the second part was an all-out race in a sleek Aston Martin along the ice while trying to dodge blasts of solar energy from the Icarus. The cinematic conclusion had us driving the car right into the back of a moving cargo plane in order to confront Graves and take him out.

Along with six full missions, 007 Legends will also feature the return of MI6 Ops Missions from GoldenEye 007: Reloaded, where you'll be able to assume the role of Bond and other characters from the franchise, including villains, in different types of single-player missions. Additionally, Legends will offer four-player split-screen and online multiplayer modes.

New Trailer for the Release of 007 Legends’ Skyfall DLC
The new Skyfall DLC for 007 Legends is available for download today. Previosuly unreleased, the DLC features a new mission taken from the Skyfall film. Though it’s unlikely to be anywhere near as good as the film, the good news is that it’s 100% completely free.

The video below gives a behind-the-scenes video looks at how the developers are bringing the film to life in the game. To maintain utmost authenticity, 007 Legends features a huge roster of past and present Bond film talent, including two rising stars from the Skyfall film. Naomie Harris lends her voice and likeness as her character Eve and Ola Rapace lends his likeness as his character Patrice.

Εγώ, έχοντας λιώσει όσο δεν πάει το Golden Eye στο Ν64, έκτοτε δεν έχω ζήσει κάτι ανάλογο στη σειρά παιχνιδιών του James Bond. Και θέτω το εξής απλό ερώτημα...

Γιατί δεν μπορούν, μιας και το κοινό από fans της σειράς υπάρχει και είναι έτοιμο, να φτιάξουν ένα αντίστοιχο παιχνίδι όπως ας πούμε τη σειρά 'Hitman'
Ειδικά τα πρώτα Hitman από άποψη γραφικών κτλ δεν ήταν και κάτι που να έκανε μπαμ, σε σχέση με τον ανταγωνισμό. Το στόρυ και το gameplay ήταν που κέρδιζε θαυμαστές.

Κρίμα και θα μπορούσαν, αν ενδιαφέρονταν, να έβγαζαν διαμάντια με τον πλέον δημοφιλή ήρωα / πράκτορα που υπάρχει και έχει θέσει τις βάσεις για τόσους ακόμα στον χώρο αυτό (βλέπε: Hitman, Transporter, Jason Bourne, Taken και πολλά ακόμα...)
