Darksiders II gets first review - 93%

The first review of Darksiders II is in, courtesy of German magazine Consol Plus. It handed out a 93% score.

Consol Plus praised the game’s deep loot system, dungeon design, puzzles, and epic as well as complex boss battles.

The magazine apparently mentions that Darksiders II offers arenas that are filled with monsters and mini-bosses of the realm you’re visiting. This aspect is extended online through leaderboards. Players will also be able to take the title online with loot sharing.

Expect more reviews of Darksiders II to begin trickling in soon.

mazon has revealed several new details in regards to the official strategy guide of the upcoming multiplatform title, Darksiders 2. The 368-page book from Prima Games will include a walkthrough, combat strategy, puzzle solutions in addition to detailed maps. Furthermore, it will also come with an exclusive DLC weapon. Will Death Be Able To Survive Darksider II's Arena?



Players who want to acquire the best items that Darksiders II has to offer will have to face the rigors of its survival arena mode.

THQ just announced Darksider II's new survival arena mode, which will allow players to continue playing the game by fighting off waves of enemies in 100 unique waves of combat. After defeating the first five waves, players will be able to take a prize and end their run or push through another five waves for a chance to earn better rewards. Only the most skilled players will be able to survive all 100 waves and claim the best prizes.

Darksiders II also features a New Game+ mode which will allow players to carry over all of their skills and equipment to a new playthrough.
