Καθυστερεί το Ghost Recon Arctic Strike DLC
Η Ubisoft ανακοίνωσε την καθυστέρηση του DLC Arctic Strike (του πρώτου της σειράς) για το Ghost Recon: Future Soldier. Η αρχική του ημερομηνία διάθεσης είχε οριστεί για τις 3 Ιουλίου, ωστόσο μεταφέρθηκε στα τέλη του μήνα, όπως τουλάχιστον επιβεβαίωσε η γαλλική εταιρεία ανάπτυξης, σημειώνοντας πως θα αποκαλύψει πλήρως τα σχέδιά της «μέσα στις επόμενες ημέρες». Ο κύριος λόγος της απόφασης είναι η δουλειά που χρειάζεται να γίνει σε αρκετούς τομείς για να βελτιωθεί το τελικό προϊόν.



Τα γεγονότα στο πακέτο λαμβάνουν χώρα στους πάγους και θα προσφέρουν έξτρα multiplayer χάρτες, ένα νέο multiplayer mode, ένα νέο Guerilla Mode Co-op χάρτη και έξι νέα όπλα.

Title update for Ghost Recon: Future Soldier released for 360



Here’s a list of changes which Ubisoft notes is “not all inclusive”:

- Matchmaking and Connection: Reduction in the peak bandwidth required; Improved tuning of host selection weighting.
- Progression:Players should no longer experience a decrease in their character’s displayed level.
- Private/System Link Kit Storage:Player’s last used kit per character will now persist across matches and sessions; Note that this is ONLY your last used kit per character and is shared between Private and System Link matches.

Other additions/changes:

- Added code which lets us remotely tune the number of rounds in the Siege Gametype.
- Double-Time bonus no longer lost on respec – Players who had previously lost the bonus should have it restored after applying the title update.
- Fix for infinite loading screen.
- Fixed a few infrequent crashes.
- Fixed multiple progression and map exploits.

The PS3 version of the game will receive the title update at the latest next week, with an additional voice chat fix.

Arctic Strike Map Pack for Ghost Recon: Future Soldier will be available on July 17
Ubisoft has announced that after a slight delay, the Arctic Strike Map Pack for Ghost Recon: Future Soldier will be available on July 17 for PS3 and Xbox 360. The pack contains three new multiplayer maps, a new mode called Stockade, a Guerilla co-op map, six new weapons, a new level cap and achievements. It will run you 800 MS Points/£7.99/$9.99.

Ghost Recon: Future Soldier Raven Strike DLC Announced



The hit tactical shooter is getting another dose of post-launch support from Ubisoft. Dubbed a "throwback to traditional Ghost Recon gameplay," Raven Strike is aimed at the hardcore crowd, with larger maps, complicated missions, and a high degree of difficultly.

The details from Ubisoft are below.

3 new missions in Campaign Mode:

• Secure Dawn: a foggy marsh in Kazakhstan where the Ghosts will not be allowed access to advanced technology (no optical camouflage, drone or sensor grenade)

• Cold Walker: a train depot on the Russian countryside

• Argent Thunder: a nighttime urban setting in Moscow

1 new map in Guerrilla Mode:

• Sawmill: face 50 waves of enemies on a foggy Russian countryside

Raven Strike will launch on September 11 for Xbox 360 (1,200 Microsoft Points) and PlayStation 3 ($14.99).

Ghost Recon: Future Soldier Update 1.03 Lists Khyber Strike DLC Trophies

It seems that the third DLC to be released for Tom Clancy’s Ghost Recon: Future Soldier will release under the title Khyber Strike and will include 3 new multiplayer maps to play on. After updating Ghost Recon: Future Soldier with the latest patch update, I opened my trophy list to find the trophies for the upcoming Raven Strike DLC as well as the yet to be announced Khyber Strike. The Raven Strike DLC has 5 trophies while the Khyber Strike DLC has 2. Here is what was listed:

*Raven Strike:3 Hidden Trophies (most likely pertaining to the three campaign missions it comes with)

Dirty Work – Complete all 3 maps in Raven Strike on Elite
Maximum Effort – Defeat all tactical challenges in Raven Strike




*Khyber Strike:

Tour of Duty: DLC Map Pack 3 - Win 3 MP of any game type on each: Switchback, Palace, and Transit maps
Takeover Domination – Be a part of a squad match where your team wins by more than 500 points

I a sure you can also expect some new weapons with the Khyber Strike DLC if it is released in a similar fashion to the Arctic Strike DLC. But for now we have the upcoming Raven Strike DLC to keep us occupied. The Raven Strike DLC will come with 3 new story missions to extend your time with the game as well as a brand new map for Guerrilla Mode
