Πολύ καλά τα όσα ειπώθηκαν για το blackgate. Ελπίζω οι μικρές εκδόσεις να έχουν αρκετό περιεχόμενο και σωστά δομημένο gameplay. Λογικά θα πάω για την PSVita πριν την μεγάλη έκδοση και θέλω να παίξω ένα σωστό Batman.

Outlast launch trailer is a good reminder to keep spare jocks handy
Indie horror effort Outlast is out now on PC. Pat, who writes stories about murders in his spare time and has one third of the emotions of lesser humans, said the game made him “properly jump” and that the start’s “fantastic”. You may want to wait for nightfall and plug in some headphones, but in the meantime, enjoy this launch trailer.
Outlast is $20 on Steam. It hails from Montreal studio Red Barrels, and is primarily a stealth game; when you mess up, your best defence is to leg it, taking advantage of the game’s parkour system, which was inspired by Mirror’s Edge and helped along by some Assassin’s Creed veterans.
Red Barrels has said multiple times that its primary goal was to scare the shit out of players and early reports indicate it has pulled this off.
Steam introduces Trade Offers to facilitate card collecting
Valve has added a new feature to Steam’s trading system – Trade Offers, allowing you to suggest what you want in return for the goodies you’re giving away.
As detailed in an announce post, Trade Offers are restricted to users on your Steam friends list, and can be initiated from either party’s Inventory or badge pages.
In a Trade Offer, you select both what you have to give, and what you’d like in return. The other party is notified, and can accept, decline, or counter-offer. You can send multiple offers with the same item, but when one offer is accepted, the rest will expire. Offers will automatically expire after two weeks, and can be manually cancelled
The major advantages of the new system are that trades can be initiated while one party is offline; trades can be sent and received in-browser rather than through the Steam client; and you don’t have to negotiate via chat with a human being (good for people who order pizza online).
If you’re keen to have a go, be sure to set your inventory to public so your friends can see your goodies.
Valve may open the system to all users, not just those who are already friends, in the future.
Steam trading cards are earned in random drops triggered by playing games, and as such are a kind of achievement system. Some players offer their cards for sale on the Steam Marketplace, and there is quite serious demand from some quarters to obtain full sets, presumably for the bragging rights.

Η 2K Games δημοσίευσε ένα νέο video για το επερχόμενο XCOM: Enemy Within. Σε αυτό ο lead designer του τίτλου Ananda Gupta, μας παρουσιάζει μερικά χαρακτηριστικά από το gameplay. Dear fans and customers,
I would like to take this opportunity to express my gratitude for your support of Atlus products.
As announced Tuesday through various news channels, we are going to continue with our business operations as part of Sega Sammy Holdings effective November 1, 2013.
As you may already know, Index Corporation filed for Civil Rehabilitation Proceedings in Japan on June 27 and since then, has been searching for a solution which would allow us to continue our business of making great games.
Atlus has consistently received support and praise from our faithful and our respected customers, and made great progress in recent years. So the recent incident must have surprised and worried all of you dearly. For that, I would like to express my deepest apologies.
We have nurtured a great relationship with Sega Inc. for a long time, especially concerning our consumer games business in Japan. I believe the collaboration between the two companies at this time will be mutually beneficial for the following reasons:
Sega understands our drive to achieve quality and to expand awareness of the Atlus brand.
Our respective strengths in game development complement each other well.
We are extremely happy to be able to continue with our business, and be able to report this good news to our fans and customers. Again, we would like to express our gratitude to everyone who has supported us.

Είναι λίγο περίεργο, αλλά όχι απροσδόκητο, που η εκτεταμένη εμπειρία της Rockstar North κατάφερε να επικρατήσει έναντι του ανταγωνισμού, βλέποντας ότι έχει ήδη δημιουργήσει πάνω από 1 δισ. δολάρια παγκοσμίως σε πωλήσεις, δεδομένου ότι ξεκίνησε στις 17 Σεπτεμβρίου.
Την πρώτη μέρα στο Ηνωμένο Βασίλειο, το GTA V κατάφερε να πουλήσει 1,57 εκατομμύρια μονάδες, συμψηφίζοντας £ 65.000.000. Κατέχει πλέον το ρεκόρ του Ηνωμένου Βασιλείου για το πιο γρήγορο σε πωλήσεις παιχνίδι που κυκλοφόρησε ποτέ, νικώντας το Call of Duty: Black Ops 2 κατά κράτος. Συγκριτικά, το shooter της Treyarch πούλησε 1,41 εκατ. μονάδες κερδίζοντας £ 58 εκατομμύρια την πρώτη ημέρα της κυκλοφορίας του στις 9 του Νοέμβρη του 2012.
Εδώ είναι το βρετανικό Top-Ten αυτής της εβδομάδας:
