Blizzard Art Book Coming This Fall

Blizzard is one of the most successful game developers in the business, and you see the evolution of the company's artistic style in a new art book slated to release in October.

Called The Art of Blizzard, the book is over 350 pages long and contains nearly 800 pieces of art that demonstrate Blizzard's creative process. Fans can expect concept art, paintings, and sketches from the developer's best-known blockbusters in addition to its more obscure cancelled titles. The images will also be accompanied by commentary from key Blizzard staff members.

Also, the book costs $75, so buying it means that you're willing to spend more on a book about Blizzard's games than you actually spend to purchase one of Blizzard's games.

Ακουστηκε οτι θα βγει τον Οκτωμβριο εχουν βγει καποια βιντεακια στο yutube αλλα απο κει και περα ο πλεον αρμοδιος για help ειναι παυλος !!

Rumor: Newegg and Amazon Leak New Infamous and God of War Dual Packs
Well, I don’t know how I found this tidbit of information, but as I was partaking on deals on Newegg’s and Amazon’s websites early this morning I stumbled upon the following information. I noticed that there are apparently new Infamous and God of War Dual Packs that are set to release later this summer according to Newegg’s placeholder on their pre-order listings. Amazon on the other hand however doesn’t have a release date for the games and are listing them as currently unavailable. What they do provide are some product information which I have listed below.

How Are Consoles and Handhelds Selling in Japan?
The story is a fairly predictable one. The Nintendo DS has dominated the handheld market, with PSP coming in second. In the realm of the console, Nintendo Wii has been the strongest seller this generation, with PlayStation 3 coming in second. You can see the total number of each current generation console and handheld sold in Japan below.

- Nintendo DS - 32,855,741 sold since December 02, 2004
- PlayStation Portable - 18,737,441 sold since December 12, 2004
- Nintendo Wii - 12,433,321 sold since December 02, 2006
- PlayStation 3 - 8,112,613 sold since November 11, 2006
- Nintendo 3DS - 6,355,287 sold since February 26, 2011
- Microsoft Xbox 360 - 1,554,547 sold since December 10, 2005
- PlayStation Vita - 756,451 sold since December 17, 2011

In the last six months, Nintendo 3DS has by far been the best-selling handheld, with PlayStation 3 selling the most consoles.

L4D2 Cold Stream DLC to release on July 24
Valve has announced via the Left 4 Dead blog the Cold Stream DLC, which consists of the Cold Stream, Blood Harvest, Crash Course, Dead Air, Death Toll and No Mercy maps will be released on Mac, PC and Xbox 360 July 24.

Valve said there are some “surprises and details,” in store later, but for now it “just wanted to confirm an often requested feature.”

“With the update going out at the same time, all of the mutations will be available at all times,” said the blog post. “This will allow players to choose to match into games playing Taannkk!, Gib Fest, or even a user created mutation like Confogl.”

More information will be available closer to launch.
