Aπό ότι φαίνεται είναι κατασκευασμένο από την Asus, διαθέτει οθόνη 7” HD-ready (1280 x 768, multitouch 5 σημείων, 215ppi), επεξεργαστή quad-core Nvidia Tegra 3 1.3GHz, ενώ η τιμή του κυμαίνεται στα $199!

Το λειτουργικό που φοράει είναι το Αndroid 4.1 με την χαρακτηριστική ονομασία Jelly Bean. Άρα δεν είναι το 5.0 η έκδοση JB που περιμέναμε.

Nokia Trailers app now available for Lumia Windows Phones


The app though goes beyond just streaming by allowing you to also download the trailer for offline viewing. In addition you get a cool Live Tile to alert you when new trailers are added to the system so you can keep up on all the latest Hollywood blockbusters. Other features include:

- Watch list - Set reminders for movies you want to see
- Share your favorite trailers with friends
- Locate local theaters nearby

7.1 Percent In 7 Months


The results are in, as of June 1, Android 4.0 (aka Ice Cream Sandwich) now has 7.1% of the Android market. Two months ago, the OS had just 2.9%, so this is progress. But that’s 7% in 7 months. There’s no spin you can put on this: it’s pathetic.

The race continues to be on for Ice Cream Sandwich to get to 10% penetration before Android 5.0 (aka Jellybean) is announced, presumably at Google I/O at the end of the month. It’s not looking good.

65% of Android users are still using some variation of Android 2.3 — and that number is actually still growing.

Google will announce the next version of their OS before 10% of their users are on the last version. Think about how insane that is for a second.

As you can see, MountainLionCenter is an awesome addition to the iPad. It makes Notification Center seem less intrusive, syncing well with either portrait or landscape orientation.

Microsoft to give us a “sneak peek” at the future of Windows Phone in two weeks
Last month Microsoft announced that they were going to hold an event dubbed the “Windows Phone Developer Summit” on June 20th. We weren’t given any information as to what was going to be discussed at the event, but now some new details have recently surfaced. According to The Verge, Microsoft plans on giving developers a “sneak peek” at “the future of Windows Phone” during this summit. Apollo, the next version of Windows Phone, wasn’t mentioned, but sources who spoke to The Verge say that developers can expect to learn several “new ways of creating apps” for Microsoft’s mobile operating system. Knowing how Microsoft does their announcements, they’ll probably offer a very high level overview of what we can expect to see in Windows Phone 8, but they’re going to keep their cards close to their chest until later this year. All we want to know about is what’s Microsoft’s response to the confusion regarding Windows Phone 7.5 updates? Multiple sources have said today’s Windows Phones will not get 8.0 Apollo, but Microsoft has yet to say anything on the record.

Revealed! The top five Android malware detected in the wild



1. Andr/PJApps-C. When Sophos Mobile Security for Android detects an app as Andr/PJApps-C it means that we have identified an app that has been cracked using a publicly available tool. Most commonly these are paid for apps that have been hacked. They are not necessarily always malicious, but are very likely to be illegal.

2. Andr/BBridge-A. Also known as BaseBridge, this malware uses a privilege escalation exploit to elevate its privileges and install additional malicious apps onto your Android device. It uses HTTP to communicate with a central server and leaks potentially identifiable information.

These malicious apps can send and read SMS messages, potentially costing you money. In fact, it can even scan your incoming SMS messages and automatically remove warnings that you are being charged a fee for using premium rate services it has signed you up for.

3. Andr/BatteryD-A. This "Battery Doctor" app falsely claims to save battery life on your Android device. But it actually sends potentially identifiable information to a server using HTTP, and aggressively displays adverts.

4. Andr/Generic-S. Sophos Mobile Security generically detects a variety of families of malicious apps as Andr/Generic-S. These range from privilege escalation exploits to aggressive adware such as variants of the Android Plankton malware.

5. Andr/DrSheep-A. Remember Firesheep? The desktop tool that can allow malicious hackers to hijack Twitter, Facebook and Linkedin sessions in a wireless network environment? Andr/DrSheep-A is the Android equivalent of the tool.
