Polaroid M10 Quad Core Tablet Hands On
Polaroid had its 7-inch M7 slate on hand at CES 2013, and you best believe there's an older sibling in that other requisite slate size: the 10.1-inch M10. (We dig the straightforward naming scheme with these products, by the way.) Like the M7, it sports a 1,280 x 800 resolution. It runs a quad-core Cortex A7 CPU with 1GB of RAM, but curiously we found this larger device to be more sluggish than its dual-core little brother.

Samsung Galaxy Grand Duos Hands On
When it comes to Samsung's collection of large-screened phones, the Galaxy Note II (as well as the Galaxy S III) takes the bulk of the mindshare. And while that particular handset is the flagship, the company is still interested in branching out to a market segment that wants a large screen but needs to keep within a limited budget. Welcome the Galaxy Grand Duos (and Grand, a single-SIM version), a 5-inch WVGA device that will likely see most of its time in emerging markets.

LG Optimus G Pro 1.7GHz HD phablet announced in Japan, will hit shelves in April
On Friday, January 18, a leaked image of the LG Optimus G Pro was sent to the folks over at Engadget by an unnamed source. Now, just a few days later, the handset has officially be unveiled in Japan. The announcement comes from NTT DoCoMo, and backs up everything we saw in the leak while tossing some more details into the mix. The handset is slated to hit Japan in April.

The upcoming flagship from LG features a 5-inch 1080p IPS display, with the entire handset measuring a svelte 139mm x 70mm x 10mm and weighing only 160 grams. The handset will be available in Platinum White and Indigo Black, and runs Android 4.1 Jelly Bean. There’s no word on when it will be hitting shelves in other countries.

Inside, users will find a blazing 1.7GHz quad-core Snapdragon processor, 2GB of RAM, and 32GB of internal storage space. There’s a microSD slot for further expansion to accompany the ample internal storage. The battery is a high-capacity 3,000mAh, although there’s no information yet on the handset’s standby and talk time ratings.
All the other goodies you’d expect are there, including Bluetooth 4.0, infrared, NFC, and mobile wallet. In addition, it also offers DoCoMo’s Xi LTE, which provides a maximum downlink of over 112Mbps in certain areas, making it the fastest 4G available in Japan. According to the NTT DoCoMo announcement, this is one of 11 smartphones in its 2013 lineup.

Nokia to release a 38MP WP EOS phone this year
The Nokia 808 PureView was the company’s first PureView smartphone and it still holds the throne as the best cameraphone out there, despite the Lumia 920 challenge. It seems that this is about to change though as the company's Windows Phone camp is going to get its own PureView device.

According to the information that The Verge acquired, the device will include a sensor similar to the one inside the 808 PureView and the whole device will be made of aluminum. The latter coincides with the rumor for another upcoiming high-end Nokia Catwalk that’s also going to be made out of aluminum, according to previous reports.
The EOS is going to a high-end Lumia device, but isn’t clear whether it’s the aforementioned Catwalk, that’s going to replace the Lumia 920, or if it’s going to be a completely different animal.
What sources familiar with the matter have confirmed, though, is that AT&T will be offering the EOS, which isn’t much of a surprise considering the carrier's close connections with Nokia. As far as the design of the device goes, it’s believed to keep the square edges of the current Lumia line-up of smartphones.

Alleged Samsung Galaxy Tab 3 pics appear ahead of MWC
We heard that Samsung is preparing to unveil the third edition of its Galaxy line of tablets, the Tab 3, in 7" and 10" versions, then we learned that the 7-incher might have been nixed from retail considerations.
Now we got sent images of what is claimed to be one of the Tab 3 versions, which are pretty blurry to tell the exact model number, but it seems to start with GT-P****, as Samsung's slates are typically numbered.
There is nothing firm yet on the specs front, but we are expecting a few tablets to be announced by Samsung at MWC next month, and this here might be one of them, alongside the already leaked Note 8.0 affordable S Pen slate.
