Warhammer 40,000: Space Marine (also known as WH40k: Space Marine) is an upcoming third-person action video game developed by Relic Entertainment and published by THQ. It is scheduled to be released for Microsoft Windows, Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3 on September 6, 2011. THQ has announced pre-orders and a limited edition version of the game.
Warhammer 40,000: Space Marine takes place in Games Workshop’s Warhammer 40,000 universe.
The gameplay experience of Warhammer 40,000: Space Marine focuses on a hybrid shooting and melee combat model. In late March it was announced that Space Marine will feature the chaos faction of Warhammer 40,000.

Plot
Players take the role of Captain Titus, a Space Marine. An ork horde is launching an invasion of an Imperial Forge World, a planet-dedicated industry that manufactures vehicles and weaponry for the Imperium's soldiers. The Warboss leading the invasion is attempting to steal a Warlord Class Battle Titan(a large walker vehicle that can wipe out whole armies). Captain Titus of the Ultramarines Chapter is sent with a small contingent of Ultramarines to slow down the invaders whilst the Liberation fleet prepares a counter assault.
Characters
[*]Captain Titus - The Player Character. He leads the Ultramarines second company in defence of the forgeworld of Graia. Voiced by Mark Strong.
[*]Sidonus - An old Space Marine Veteran who serves as Titus' second in command.
[*]Leandros - A young Ultramarine Battle-Brother about 75 years old (Considered young on the Space Marine life cycle), who looks up to Captain Titus.
[*]2nd Lieutenant Mira - The commanding officer leading the remaining Imperial Guard units in the Ork invasion of the Forge Worlds.
[*]Inquisitor Drogan - A radical inquisitor whose obsession with defending the forgeworld led him to order the forgeworld's scientists to open a portal, which brought about a Chaos warband to invade the forgeworld.
[*]Nemeroth - A Chaos Terminator Sorcerer Lord and leader of the Chaos War-Band which invades Graia.
[*]Corporal Antioch - One of the remaining Imperial Guard soldiers in the Ork invasion on the Forge Worlds, who helps Captain Titus.
