Remedy is gearing up for an Alan Wake 2 announcement
Amazing news for all Alan Wake fans as Remedy has registered the domain name for AlanWake2.com. As the whois looup shows, Remedy is the owner of the website and you can view the entire whois lookup below. Yes, the record was created back in 2005, but it has just been updated according to the lookup. In addition, back in June, Sam Lake hinted that Remedy was working on something new. If rumors are true, Alan Wake 2 will take place in the town of Ordinary. Obviously, except for an official announcement pretty soon!

Fans Call for Removal of Chris Brown From Xbox Dashboard
Back in 2009, singer Chris Brown beat the living shit out of his girlfriend, and pop mega-star Rihanna. Now in 2012, a mere three years later, Brown is back on top of the music scene, winning awards left, right, and centre.
Apparently, it takes only three years to be forgiven when you commit a horrific crime.
As the Xbox moves away from gaming, shifting the focus towards music is a logical step. Who doesn't want to load up the dashboard before a night of Skyrimming and see an advert for Justin Beiber on a service they pay £40 a year for? The problem here is that if we are paying for a service, should we not get some level of input into how it's ran? Case and point, not giving money to people who beat their girlfriend half to death then show little to no remorse.
Microsoft are happy to forget about Chris Brown's crimes, presumably a big bag of money solicits forgiveness. I however, am not. If you have an Xbox.com forum account, take to it and let them know you want any trace of him removed. If you have a Twitter, be sure to send Xbox support a few Tweets. Let Microsoft know that this standard of practice is wrong.

Rambo: The Video Game to be Playable at Gamescom
UK videogame publisher Reef Entertainment has today announced that Rambo: The Video Game will be playable on the show floor at this year’s Gamescom. Little is currently known about the forthcoming videogame, and yet anticipation is already riding high.
Reef Entertainment Commercial Director Craig Lewis said: “We have been quiet since we acquired the Rambo license last August. During this time we have been dedicated to creating a videogame for consoles and PC that will allow Rambo fans and gamers across the globe to really get under the skin of Rambo and wield his iconic weapon-set in battle.
“We look forward to sharing more information about the game in the lead up to Gamescom.”
Still hardly revealing anything about the videogame, aside from the artwork seen on this page, Reef Entertainment are obviously pinning their hopes on attracting enough attention at next month’s Gamescom event. Electronic Theatre will keep you updated with all the latest details on the forthcoming Rambo: The Video Game, and other titles from Reef Entertainment.

Final Fantasy VII PC revamp confirmed

Civilization V patch fixes more than a dozen bugs and crashes
[PREVIOUS SAVES]
- Older saves with DLC leaders (including Genghis) will no longer "shift" when loaded into the patched game.
[CRASH FIXES]
- If a user does not have a religion, and receives a religion from another Civ, setting the "automated faith purchase" option could previously cause a crash when the purchase tries to fire for either the player, or the AI. This has been corrected.
- Fixed an issue where a user could click on a city banner during the AI turn, and the game could crash depending what AI process is happening at the time of the "click."
- Into the Renaissance - If an AI player has open borders and a friendly relationship with another Civ, they would sometimes send a Great Admiral to park in their city. If the city tries to purchase a civilian unit while the Great Admiral is parked there, the game could crash. This is corrected.
- Scenario hang - There was a chance that when you won a scenario, the game could hang. This has been corrected.
- Fixed an issue where any user with special characters in their Windows name will be unable to load saves.
- If a player has Steam in "offline mode", and clicks on Mods, into the modding area and then backs out, the game could crash. This is now corrected.
- Game Hang on turn 0 - After patching, many have reported being unable to interact with units or end the first turn. This is now corrected.
- Game could previously hang on "Unit Needs Orders" after the player clicks next turn. This has been corrected, and the camera snap has been fixed.
- A crash that could occur in Hot Seat if the game core threading had been disabled is fixed.
[BUG FIXES]
- Fall of Rome Scenario - Golden Ages were switched to providing bonus culture earlier in project. We've removed the culture bonus from Golden Ages for the scenario.
- Open Borders that do not exist - If the AI is trying to renew an open borders agreement, but has something more important to talk about in the queue, the system would still record the Open Borders agreement as being active (even though it is not actually in place). This has been corrected.
- Military Caste (+2 culture from garrison) was not working correctly. Whenever a civilian unit embarks, bulbs, or is deleted, it subtracted 2 culture, and kept adding up each time this happened, leaving the city at permanent negative culture. This has been corrected.
- The "Peace Loving" belief was not functioning. This has been corrected.
- When cities bombard attacking units, death animations would now play correctly.
