Black Ops 2: weapon levels aren’t lost after you Prestige, says Treyarch
Call of Duty: Black Ops 2 changes up a lot of old truths regarding the series’ mulitplayer, and it seems that Prestige will be changing slightly too, according to Treyarch’s David Vonderhaar.



Taking to Twitter to answers some fan questions, Vonderhaar shed light on Black Ops 2′s tweaked Prestige format, “Just got this bug from QA. ‘Weapon levels are given after unlocking a gun that was leveled up on a past level progression.’ That’s what we call NAB. Not a bug.”

“If you Prestige and unlock the gun, you’ll pick up right where you left off,” he continued, “If something has been a certain way a long time, the assumption when it doesn’t work the way it has in the past is that it is a bug.”

So what he’s basically saying is that, say you unlock a weapon on your first multiplayer playthrough, then rank it up to level 10. You will lose that weapon after you Prestige, but if you unlock it a second time, it will start off at level 10.

Phew, everyone got that? Good.

Black Ops 2 – Treyarch teases full zombie reveal for next week
Black Ops 2 will have zombies in some capacity. We’ve all known this deep down inside since the game was announced, and only because Treyarch are such teases. Today, the teasing is just as unrelenting with the new trailer posted below. Activision promises more information on the undead will be revealed for the game on September 26.

reyarch just tweeted this picture saying, “The calm has ended – they are beginning to return.” Some say it looks like Nacht Der Untoten. However, looking at the power lines and the lamp, I disagree. Treyarch also said “Are they teasers or clues? Both? Neither? Ahhh, the beauty of Zombies!!” So what do you think this is? A teaser or a clue? Or both!?
