Gears of War 3 Sells More Than 3m Copies in First Week

Microsoft and Epic have reason to celebrate. The highly anticipated end to the Gears trilogy - Gears of War 3 - has eclipsed 3 million units first week. This covers a period of 5 days in both Americas and EMEAA. This both marks 50% growth over Gears of War 2 and means that it outsold the first weeks of both previous iterations combined.

• New fortification upgrades:

— Decoy Upgrade – A new fortification level that turns your decoy into an Onyx Guard bot that will fight in your defense.
— Sentry Upgrade – This upgrade adds a fire bolt sentry that deals much more damage and is very effective against Berserkers.

Το τελείωσα μόλις. Το καταχάρηκα; Σαφώς. Άλλαξε όλο μου το είναι; Δε θα το έλεγα.

Αν και το δεύτερο εξακολουθεί να είναι το αγαπημένο μου (κυρίως λόγω του last stand vibe που το διακατέχει), και το τελευταίο μέρος της σειράς είναι άκρως διασκεδαστικό. Ίσως θα έπρεπε να είχαν αξιοποιήσει λίγο περισσότερο τα mounts, καθώς και εισαγωγή μερικών πιο versatile όπλων, αλλά φαντάζομαι πως κάτι τέτοιο θα απαιτούσε σημαντικές αλλαγές στο gameplay, κάτι που δεν έγινε.

Το αν έκλεισε καλά το saga θα το αφήσω να το κρίνουν οι βετεράνοι του franchise, μιας κι εγώ μέχρι και το τέλος του Gears 3 δεν είχα καλά καλά καταλάβει πως είχε ξεκινήσει ο πόλεμος.

Πάρα πολύ σωστή παρατήρηση. Σημαντικότατη προσθήκη, ιδιαίτερα στο Horde αλλά στο campaign δεν έκανε τόσο μεγάλη διαφορά το silverback, γιατί το χρησιμοποιούσες πολύ λίγο. Για αυτό δεν μιλάς;

Ω ναι.

Το αν έκλεισε καλά το saga θα το αφήσω να το κρίνουν οι βετεράνοι του franchise, μιας κι εγώ μέχρι και το τέλος του Gears 3 δεν είχα καλά καλά καταλάβει πως είχε ξεκινήσει ο πόλεμος.

Action game είναι, δεν ρωτάμε, απλά πυροβολάμε!!!

Αν και οποιος ασχολειται θα το γνωριζει ηδη τυπικα λεω οτι εφαγε nerf η SOS

Επισης αυτο που λετε παιδια για το στορυ. Για εμενα ειναι καλο να το δειτε. Ειναι σαν να βλεπεις πχ το Braveheart η το band of brothers και να μεινεις μονο στις σκηνες μαχης. Εχει 1-2 πραγματα να πει.
